As one of the coldest and rainiest springs in Germany is slowly passing by, I am thinking back to the trip we made about the same time one year ago. Schloss Neuschwanstein is one every organized tour agenda, but despite of the tourist crowds it still remains one of the most impressive castles in Germany and perhaps in the whole world. Here are some photo memories about a beautiful sunny day when we visited! Hope the good weather is coming back again this year…

Neuschwanstein Castle: Most touristic spot of Germany
No Comments, 2AWAY, GERMANY, by Masha.Just a little over a year ago we were embarking on our first long-term backpacking trip along the Trans-Siberian railway, which at that time seemed to be a never-ending adventure. But, as we all know, time flies and the best four months of our lives passed by, living thousands of colourful memories and unforgettable experiences behind. After coming back to Stuttgart in November last year, we knew that soon we would be on the way again – whether exploring Europe over long weekends and short holidays or undertaking more adventurous travels far away from home. Now almost 7 months into the new year we’d like to recap everything that it has brought us so far as well as share some of our travel plans for the rest of 2012.
Here we are – in Bangkok! After 6 weeks in China and 1 week in Hong-Kong/Macau, ready to absorb new culture, new traditions, try new food, meet new people. At that moment we didn’t know how our time in Thailand was going to be, but one thing we knew for sure from the first hours – it smelled so good!
We are going home… Tomorrow we are flying back to Stuttgart after 4 months being on the way, changing places, hotel rooms, trains, buses, tasting food, getting new impressions and experiences, meeting people, making friends and moving on to discover something new. It’s difficult to imagine that almost the same time tomorrow we are going to enter our flat and “normal life” will resume. We are little bit sad as something so beautiful has to come to its end, however, we are now confident that this is just the beginning of a much longer adventure We will not give up travelling and, of course, will not give up our blog, hoping to take it one step further. We still have a lot to share with you from the last month of our trip spent in Southeast Asia. Afterwards we will focus on more practical travel advice, re-design of our web-site, improving our Facebook page and many other things which will hopefully help bringing our blog to a new level. From now on you will also have a chance to follow all the future trips here… so, stay tuned! P. S. We watched this beautiful sunset on our last evening on Koh Lanta (Southern Thailand) this week. It resembles a little bit our current mood, but we are sure that tomorrow will be another day and the sun will shine even brighter
